Education for a lifetime of healthy smiles

Each February, Smile Station Pediatric Dentistry participates in the National Children's Dental Health Month (NCDHM) campaign to educate children, parents, and teachers in our community about the benefits of good oral health habits. Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children "Get On The Right Track" to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.

This month our office will be visiting preschools and elementary schools across the metro area to encourage kids and their families to improve their oral health.  We hope that our visits will motivate kids to take care of their teeth for a lifetime and provide information to their parents about good oral hygiene habits and healthy food choices that limit tooth decay.

Hello,
I was wondering if you could provide education for our Preschool children here at Educare of Omaha at Kellom site. I know that you came out about 2 years ago during Dental Health Month. Thanks

I liked that you said that going to routine dentist appointments from the time you were a child would promote healthy gums and teeth for a lifetime. I would imagine that this would help you avoid pain and decay. I will be sure to send my children to regular dentist appointments to help them avoid pan and decay.

It's great to see your organization spreading the word about focusing on dental hygiene starting with your kids at a young age. Many of the dental work that is performed could be prevented if people took better care of their teeth and gums starting when they were kids. Thank for sharing this information!

Interesting post! A dentist’s visit to preschools and elementary schools is beneficial for children as it will educate them about how to improve their oral health. Keep posting!
